L'Orcio's 2013 Chianti Classico Ca' di Pesa is fabulous. Rich, sumptuous and resonant in the glass, the 2013 is utterly captivating from the very first taste. The flavors are bold yet also beautifully delineated - especially for such an intense wine - while the French oak is better integrated than it has been in any other previous vintage. A host of rose petal, savory herb, mocha and spice add nuance on the finish. Readers should expect an ample, textured Chianti Classico that reflects the inherent intensity of the Conca d'Oro. That said, the estate's 2013 has a personality all its own. Antonio Galloni, Vinous - 2015

We began making wines at Ca' di Pesa in 2010 - an exciting adventure that was a manifestation of our personal passion for Chianti Classico and for the terroir of the Conca d'Oro. Since then, and with the help of the warm and supportive vintners of Panzano, we have been working with a deeply involved, passionate team, sparing no effort or expense to make the best possible wines.

Making red wines was an obvious choice for this area; but with Summer and its hot, peaceful days being such an important part of life in Tuscany, we began to make a rosato - a floral and fresh wine which we enjoy sipping in the company of friends or by the pool as we soak in the warm and wonderful Tuscan sun.

Ca' di Pesa is intentionally a small winery, which allows for a complete focus on quality - but it also makes it possible for us to connect in a special way with many of the people who enjoy our wines.

We are still a young winery, but we believe that our wines are now beginning to match our very high expectations and dreams.

In 2015, Ca' di Pesa's Chianti Classico received an enthusiastic endorsement from the renowned  Master of Wine, Antonio Galloni.

In 2016, Luca Maroni rated our La Lucertola I.G.T. 2012 91 points:
"Its excellent organic quality is no surprise -  it is a wine with an excellent structure, harmonious roundness - pure and gleaming - hats off!"
